Tips for Success

Review the following suggestions to ensure that participants are set up for success in their challenge.

• Communicate, Communicate, Communicate! Admins who send out regular communications throughout their challenge see higher engagement and retention. We made it easy for you with a variety of communication templates which you can preview here.
• Promote the social features to keep participants engaged and motivated. Encourage participants to comment in the challenge discussion boards, and consider adding photos of their experience. Prompt members with a question in the discussion board, like “How are you staying active during this challenge?”
• Awarding participants for their participation greatly increases the participation in your program! To encourage honesty and lower frustrations, keep prizes small but desirable. Here are some suggestions for incentive criteria.
