Featured Challenge

A Featured challenge is the program's main, site-wide, challenge. Only Admins can create Featured challenges. When building a challenge via the Admin Panel > Challenges > the default setting for a challenge created via the Admin Panel is Featured, however, the Admin the opt to make a challenge non-featured:

When the challenge is Featured:

• When you create a featured challenge, any new registrants will be automatically added to the challenge (no need to send invitations or manually add members)
• Emails are sent to members with the milestone content as they pass them along the map route (as long as member has not turned those off in member preferences section)
